OIKOS offers a stimulating research environment for Research Master's and PhD Students in Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology at the participating universities.


OIKOS researchers are united in six research groups, which cover all aspects of Classical Antiquity.


As the National Research School for Classical Studies in the Netherlands, OIKOS organizes courses for PhD candidates and Research Master students, and unites researchers from seven universities in the Netherlands and Belgium in the area of Graeco-Roman Antiquity and its reception.
