Aims
  • The student is capable of solving linear algebra problems with real coefficients.
  • The student is confident in solving systems of linear equations.
  • The student can compute determinants, eigenvectors and eigenvalues.
  • The student is familiar with inproduct spaces and is capable of computing Fourier coefficients using inproducts.
Content
Linear Algebra is a follow-up course of Mathematics 1. Its aim is to work with structures that resemble the ordinary two and three dimensional space. Linear Algebra is a preparation for Quantum mechanics, Chemical Bonds and programming in Matlab.
