Background:
Ron Wehrens obtained his Ph.D. (1994) at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the University of Nijmegen. After lecturing at the University of Twente (NL) for a year, he returned to Nijmegen where he holds a position as associate professor. He was visiting scientist at the ETH Zurich (group of prof. E. Pretsch) in 1997, and the University of Washington (group of prof. A. Raftery) in 2002.
Research topics:
Multivariate statistics, classification, clustering.
