Overview of our research and instrumentation
IMM
Scanning Probe Microscopy is part of the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM). The IMM is an interdisciplinary research institute in chemistry and physics at Radboud University. IMM’s mission is to perform fundamental research to understand, design and control the functioning of molecules and materials and to train the next generation of leaders in science and entrepreneurship at the highest international standards.
The group participates in the research theme Spectroscopy of Quantum Materials:

Research
Our group focuses on advancing the state of the art in scanning probe techniques in order to understand both fundamental and technological problems in condensed matter physics as well as in surface chemistry.
Our expertise focuses on magnetic and electronic imaging in cryogenic environments in magnetic fields, and molecular imaging at solid liquid interfaces in ambient conditions.
