June was the Month of AI in education. On Wednesday 14 June, the education day of the NL Tech Week took place at HAN. The focus was on the professionalization of teachers and teacher trainers on the subject of AI. Teachers from all levels of education were present.
MKB Datalab-Oost has officially opened! This new lab supports SME entrepreneurs in the Netherlands through data-oriented entrepreneurship. Students in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from both Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Twente will be working on data and AI-related issues of SME entrepreneurs.

On April 20th, the AI for Energy Grids Lab was officially launched. It is one of the 17 new ICAI labs that were recently launched as part of the NWO LTP programme ROBUST. This lab aims to use the power of artificial intelligence to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
