Scholarships and Fellowships
For the future of the AMT project it is crucial not only to inspire children, but also to facilitate young adults in their career to become a scientist or engineer. Therefore a scholarship and fellowship programme is envisaged to be part of the project:
- Pre-university scholarships in physics and engineering – since not all children in Namibia have the opportunity to graduate at the adequate level to enter university.
- Bachelor & Master scholarships in (astro)physics and engineering
- Exchange programme for university students- an extended visit of 6 months to the Netherlands to be trained in the AMT science;
- AMT PhD fellowships - a 0.5yr fellowship program on topics related to the AMT science or technical developments.
- Industrial fellowships – a fellowship programme for recent graduates in AMT related topics together with industrial partners. Goal is to coach them so they can launch their careers successfully.
