Veni grant for BSI colleague Loes Pouwels for her research project about social media use and connectedness.

One in 10 older people (>65 years) have a reduced quality of life due to an anxiety disorder. These older adults receive treatment three times less often treatment compared to 18-65-year-olds with an anxiety disorder. Gert-Jan Hendriks received a ZonMw grant to study, together with a.o. BSI-colleagues Eni Becker and Nessa Ikani, the (cost-)effectiveness of exposure therapy for those elderly people.

NWO OC XS grant for intervention to induce awe to help people perform environmentally friendly behaviour. Barbara Müller will develop and test an intervention with her funded project that aims to elicit wonder and awe for the environment, which is assumed to lead to pro-environmental behaviour.

Marieke Fransen, together with her teammates Lisa Vandeberg and Adriaan Denkers, has won the Strategic Communication Challenge 2023 with the research proposal 'Identifying resistance'. The research team from Radboud University will develop a tool that identify resistance in behavioural change.
