Jasper de Groot awarded with Rising Star award

Jasper de Groot, Assistant Professor at the Behaviour Change & Well-Being research group, has been designated as ‘Rising Star’ by the Association for Psychological Science. The Rising Star designation recognizes outstanding psychological scientists in the earliest stages of their research career post-PhD whose innovative work has already advanced the field and signals great potential for their continued contributions. Jasper’s research focuses on the human sense of smell, from its functional role in affecting human behavior to its dysfunction in COVID-19. In his work he integrates psychological, neuroscience, and chemical analytical approaches.
