Ming Ebbinkhuijsen and Sanne Tamboer winners of the Covid Behavioural Challenge (2nd place)
Last week, BSI Communication and Media PhD students Ming Ebbinkhuijsen and Sanne Tamboer received the news that, from a total of 184 submissions, they are among the 9 winners of the Covid Behavioural Challenge! This challenge is a competition for innovative ideas aimed at getting the Corona pandemic under control from a Behavioural Science perspective. Together, Ming and Sanne submitted an idea to improve the mental health of young people (12-15 years) during the pandemic. On January 26, they heard that their idea ended up on the second place. They will be awarded an amount of money (10000 euros). Moreover, the potential will be explored to test the idea in practice and to integrate elements of it into (policy) measures and campaigns.
