Responsibilities
The Business Administration program at the Nijmegen School of Management has vacancies for 1-2 student-assistants to supervise working groups for the course 'Project Responsible Organisation 2: Business Analysis for Responsible Organisation', part of the study programs Business Administration and (International) Business Administration.
It's a great way to learn System Thinking / System Dynamics via teaching and to gain experience as a group instructor/presenter and teacher.
Activities:
- Supervising working groups on applications of System Dynamics to support Business model analysis.
- Preparing (reading material/chapters) of the course and the material (Key reading: Thinking in Systems: A Primer by Donella Meadows).
- Explaining the course material.
- Give feedback during meetings, and answer questions based on assignments.
- Assessing group work + converting points of attention into plenary feedback.
- Discussing feedback during meetings, answering questions, and helping with the next weekly assignment.
- Provide a preliminary grading on the final submission.
- Appointment will be through Campus Detachering. For any preparation you do from home hours, you are expected to use your own laptop or computer.
What we expect from you
You will facilitate either one or two Seminar groups (each with 6-7 teams of 7 students - each working group has around 42 students). Two seminar groups (100 hours in total) Or one Seminar Group (50hr in total)
Six sessions (Tentative) in Week, 6,8,10,15,20,22) Wed AM / PM and Thurs PM .
Notes about the conditions of employment
Salary scale SA: minimum of €18,69 euro gross per hour (excl. holiday allowance, holiday money, public holidays and end-of-year bonus).
