Responsibilities

Our faculty, together with three other faculties, has been asked to produce a research plan for the university-wide topic “Origin and order of space and matter.” I am one of the coordinators of this enterprise and need a master or research master student assistant who can spare 4 hours a week from early April until mid-June to assist me in this task. Note that there is a possibility for this task to run one month longer, until mid-July.

The task involves: gathering the research reports and plans of the various research units of the four faculties involved, drawing up an inventory of related themes and of the researchers involved, possibly collecting additional information from researchers, and writing syntheses of what you have found.

What we expect from you

Necessary requirements are a pro-active attitude, the ability to work independently, and strong analytic and conceptual skills. In case candidates of equal strength apply, candidates speaking both Dutch and English will be preferred. Notes about the conditions of employment

Salary scale SA: minimum of €18,69 euro gross per hour (excl. holiday allowance, holiday money, public holidays and end-of-year bonus).  You will work 4 hours per week, for a total of 48 hours (up to 60).
