Career Event: Bias-free matching
On Tuesday January 31, Radboud Career Service is organizing an interactive career event. On this day you as an employer can get in touch with students who are looking for an (part time) job or internship. This day consists of:
- Speed dates with students for specific assignments
- Networking drink to get to know students, study associations, internship coordinators and career officers
Each participating organization publishes at least 3 vacancies (of varying nature) in advance on the Career Central matching platform. Students who match on the vacancy can register for a speed date.
Prior to the event
During this event we will work with our own online career platform Career Central. You can create a company profile on this platform. We will support you in creating the profile and adding vacancies to the platform (internships, part-time jobs, projects, graduation assignments, etc.). When there is a match between the skills of a student and the required skills in the vacancy, they can register for one or more interviews (speed dates) at the career event.
As a participating organization you will be included in other communication to students about this event (such as the Career Service website, on socials and mailings). In this, there will be direct links to your company profile on Career Central for additional information and vacancies. Students who do not attend the event can show their interest in your organization on the platform by following or sending a message.
The following conditions apply to participation:
- Organization is located in the region of Nijmegen (radius of 20 km)
- At least 3 open vacancies for a diversity of students
- Available on Tuesday 31 January
The following charges apply:
- Participation in the matching platform and publishing internships is free of charge
- Participation in the event on campus: € 490,-
If you are interested in participating in this event, please register via the red button.
After the event
After the event there is contact about and support in the development of possible internship assignments or other student projects. Study advisors, career officers and possibly study associations will discuss further cooperation.
Your company profile will remain visible on the Career Central platform and students who have started following your organization will be notified of new job postings. Mutual contact, also with employees and study associations, remains possible on the platform.
