Transition rules Computing Science third year

The third year programme of curriculum 2016 has very few changes compared to that of 2015. In the first quarter, the course Research Methods has been replaced by the course Academic Writing for Computing Science students. Students who have not yet completed the course Research Methods can in principle still do so, in Q4. Other courses that have moved to the second year are still taught, so you can still complete them if you did not do so last year.

NWI-IBC035 Academic Writing for students of Computing Science is the only course included in the first semester; the remaining 27 EC are intended for the mobility window including MINOR (15 ec) and Free Choice (12 EC). If you want to take a semester abroad, you may consult the examination board and propose an alternative for the Academic Writing course elsewhere.

If you have some delay relative to the programme of your starting year, and if the current changes cause problems for your planning in relation to your bachelor thesis or graduation, please consult your study advisor.
