The master specialisation Neurophysics comprises of:

B. Elective courses - Physics and Astronmoy 24 EC
C. Master Thesis Physics and Astronomy 60 EC
D. Professional Preparation 1 EC
E. Philosophy 3 EC
F. Free electives 14 EC

Note: In order to create a coherent programme that prepares you for a Master's thesis contact the coordinator:

B. Elective courses (24 EC)

Elective courses should be chosen in consultation with the prospective supervisor or the coordinator of the master specialisation. Note that the selected electives should add up to a minimum total of 24 EC.

Depending on your field of interest, the following courses are highly recommended:

All Neurophysics elective courses are found here. However, you are not restricted to this selection of Physics and Astronomy courses. Part of your elective course programme (9-15 EC) can take the form a minor in Computational and Data Science.

The Educational tour can also be used as an elective course within your Master's.

Free electives can be chosen from other master specialisations or programmes, not necessarily within Physics and Astronomy. You can also consider courses from the societal specialisations.
