Semester 1 modules
These modules contain three courses. Students can only be admitted if they take all three courses during the same semester (retakes excluded).
Modules from the Philosophy, Politics and Society programme (whose courses always have the letters PPS in their course codes) are freely accessible to FTR students and international exchange students. Each module also has a limited number of places for regular students from other faculties, who can register by sending an enrolment request to stip@ftr.ru.nl. The one exception to this is that students from the Faculty of Arts have full access to the MENA module. In all cases, students cannot take individual courses from a module: a PPS module always has to be taken in its entirety (meaning that you take all three courses in the same semester).
