The students' association of the Medical Faculty (MFVN, http://www.mfvn.nl/) can arrange a reduction on the price of some of these books of about 13%. Full text books may be inspected online using Bookshelf (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/).
(Mobile) device for education
Although we expect and hope that all education can be offered in person, circumstances may demand that parts of the education at Radboud University will have to be offered online, and assessments taking place remotely. Online lectures and assessments are expected to continue to be part of the programme. To be able to follow our programme, it is important that you have a suitable electronic device, mobile or otherwise. It must at least meet the following minimum requirements:
- Windows 10
- Intel i5 processor (or similar: AMD ryzen 5)
- 8 GB internal memory
- 256 GB SSD storage
- Internet connection
- 13-inch display
- Sufficient battery life.
If you wish, you can purchase a device from http://www.surfspot.nl/), a non-profit ICT web shop that offers discounts for students on hardware and other items. Of course, you are also welcome to purchase equipment elsewhere. Students can download the F-secure internet security package free of charge from SURFspot.
If it is financially impossible for you to purchase such a device, please notify your studyadvisor, so we can search for a solution together.
