Transition rules
The transition rules that apply to the master Computing Science can be found in the Education and Exam Regulations. Below, we describe the most relevant points that apply this year.
General transition rules
Some courses in the master Computing Science are offered once every two years, alternating with other courses. In general, at the request of students who did not pass the exam last year and who need to complete the course to obtain their degree this year, one exam opportunity can be scheduled in the year in which they are not offered. If this applies to you, please contact the study advisor before November 1st.
New courses
As of last year (2021-2022), the specialisation Cyber Security at Radboud University is fully taught by the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences (and no longer jointly with TU/e). Students who are still studying in the joint TRU/e Security curriculum should check the transition rules in last year's prospectus as well as the Education and Exam Regulations.
In Academic Year 2022-2023, the following courses are offered for the first time:
- NWI-IMC063 Cryptology (6 EC, Q1-2)
- NWI-IMC069 Security and Privacy of Machine Learning (6 EC, Q3-4)
- NWI-IMC070 Deep Learning (6 EC, Q1-2)
In addition, the following changes and transition rules apply (courses are listed in order of course code). For transition rules of older curricula: please check the Education and Examination regulations or contact the study-advisor Perry Groot to discuss options.
