Course Enrolment

For Behavioural Science (BS) students

Behavioural Science Research Master (BS) students will have to sign up for all the courses they want to follow (also the obligatory courses). You can do this from your student portal. When you sign up for a course, you will automatically be signed up for the first examination session (course registration = examination registration). For more information about de-registration, signing up for resits etc. see here.

Please note that registration through OSIRIS is accessible for Behavioural Science students only.
Do not contact the lecturers directly!
If you are interested in one of our courses, please follow the guidelines below. Access to the course can only be arranged by emailing us at rm@bsi.ru.nl.

For external students

The Behavioural Science Research Master is a selective master and the courses are only open for other students if you meet the criteria below and if the maximum number of students has not been reached. BS students and BSI PhD students have priority and for the others it is; ‘first comes, first served'.

For the statistics and Python courses, there is a waiting list. A week in advance, you will hear whether you can take part.

You might be able to attend a course (with a maximum of three courses) if you are a:
1. Research master students (RU)
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl including  your name + s-number, your current research master, educational background and your motivation to follow the specific course(s), at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

If you are interested in a statistics  or methods course:
Due to the popularity of some of our courses  (Advanced Statistics in R, Mixed-Effects Models and Structural Equation Modeling and Python), we do not have the capacity to grade the coursework of PhD students. However you are welcome to audit the course; i.e. follow the lectures, get access to Brightspace, make the homework assignments, and take-home exam but none of this will be graded. Also no certificate will be provided.
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl with your name, u-number, coursename and short motivation to follow the course at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. Please be aware that for some courses experience with R is a prerequisite.
