Taking HLCS courses as an elective

Are you interested in taking HLCS courses as an elective? That might be possible. Please find information below and see if you meet the criteria. If you have any questions about the courses and/or the procedure please contact the student advisor of the programme.

  1. Research Master students from other faculties or from other Dutch universities in an adjacent subject.

You can directly join our interdisciplinary and disciplinary courses.

  • Are you a student at Radboud university? Please contact STIP Arts to arrange your course registration prior to the start of the course. Include your full name, student number, course code and course name in the message.
  • Are you a student at another Dutch university? Please apply as a subsidiary student. The Faculty Admissions Board will handle your application and registration. Note that the deadline for applying is 1 July for semester 1 and 1 December for semester 2.
  1. Master students or Research Master students from other faculties or other Dutch universities in a non-adjacent subject.

You will need to contact the student advisor to see if you are admissible to the course(s). Please send an email to Studentadvisor-hlcs@ru.nl and include your full name, home university/study programme, if applicable student number at Radboud University, course code and course name in the message. Please also attach the following documents:

-Your grade list (BA and MA): your GPA needs to be at least a 7.5 and your Bachelor’s thesis had to have received a grade of at least 8.0.

-A short statement detailing their motivation and any relevant prior knowledge.

The student advisor will inform you as soon as possible about the result. If the result is positive follow-up actions will be needed:

  • Are you a student at Radboud university? The student advisor will include STIP Arts in the email and ask if they can register you for the course.
  • Are you a student at another Dutch university? Please apply as a subsidiary student. The Faculty Admissions Board will handle your application and registration. Note that the deadline for applying is 1 July for semester 1 and 1 December for semester 2.
