Transitional arrangements

If you have not yet passed the theme course of your minor and your minor will no longer be offered in 2024-2025, choose a course from the interdisciplinary package of your minor, using the 2023-2024 minor guide.
Side note: It is possible that not every course mentioned in the interdisciplinary package will still be offered in 2024-2025.

After 1 July 2024, once you've checked the 2024-2025 minor guide, please fill in the form that you find there to inform us which course you would like to replace the theme course with, e.g. "I would like to replace the theme course Data and Society (LET-LETMI-TH06) with the course Data Culture (LET-ACWB209)."

If you have not yet passed Academia & Society (incl. Study Abroad: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF12)) or you have not yet participated in this course, you will join a variant of A&S of a thematic minor that is still offered in 2024-2025. So you can choose from:

1. Beleid, Organisatie en Communicatie: Wetenschap en Samenleving (LET-LETMI-RF01)
2. Cultureel Erfgoed en Publiek: Wetenschap en Samenleving (LET-LETMI-RF03)
3. European Culture and National Identities: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF07)
4. Diversity, Inclusion and Gender: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF08)
5. Multilingualism in Europe: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF11)

After 1 July 2024, once you've checked the 2024-2025 minor guide, please fill in the form that you find there to inform us which course you would like to replace the A&S course with, e.g. "I would like to replace the course Data and Society: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF06) with the course Multilingualism in Europe: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF11)."

If you have not yet passed or participated in the think tank of your thematic minor, please register for the general think tank that takes place in semester 2 (LET-LETMI-DT13) or - if possible - the think tank of a thematic minor that is still offered and is closely related to the theme of your actual minor. You can choose from:

1. Denktank / Think Tank (LET-LETMI-DT13)
   A wide range of humanities topics are offered here. It is strongly recommended to choose this think tank as a replacement for a thematic think tank that is no longer offered.
2. Denktank Beleid, Organisatie en Communicatie (LET-LETMI-DT01)
3. Denktank Cultureel Erfgoed en Publiek (LET-LETMI-DT03)
4. Think tank European Culture and National Identities (LET-LETMI-DT07)
5. Think tank Diversity, Inclusion and Gender (LET-LETMI-DT08)
6. Think tank Multilingualism in Europe (LET-LETMI-DT11)

After 1 July 2024, once you've checked the 2024-2025 minor guide, please fill in the form that you find there to inform us which course you would like to replace the think tank course with, e.g. "I would like to replace the Think tank Data and Society (LET-LETMI-DT06) with the Denktank / Think Tank (LET-LETMI-DT13)."

NOTE: If you have already passed the theme course OR Study Abroad: Academia and Society (LET-LETMI-RF12) (i.e.: the course that was an entry requirement for the think tank in 2023-2024), you can also participate in the think tank in semester 1 (LET-LETMI-DT00).

If you started the interdisciplinary package of a minor that is no longer offered in 2024-2025, you can simply complete that package in 2024-2025. To do so, use the information on this package from the 2023-2024 minor guide.
If you have not yet started this package but are planning to and have already completed all the fixed components of the thematic minor, the same applies.
Side note: It is possible that not every course mentioned in the interdisciplinary package will still be offered in 2024-2025.

If you have only completed the theme course OR Academia & Society of the thematic minor, you might consider opting for the elective minor and filling the elective space of 30 EC with courses from the interdisciplinary package, supplemented with the theme course OR Academia & Society.
