Minor Accounting

The minor in Accounting begins with the course of the same name, during which you will become familiar with business economics instruments, techniques, and regulations for organisations. In addition to performing calculations, you will learn that accounting also includes providing business economics information to stakeholders, both inside and outside the organisation. In this minor, various aspects of Business Economics are addressed, from financial assets to international and local accounting standards.

After you have successfully completed the minor, you will receive a certificate. Please note: in case one or more courses of the minor are part of your standard study program, you are not eligible for a certificate.

For students from the Economics and Business Economics and the Business Administration programmes who already complete some of these courses within their standard programme, it is possible to replace some of these courses so it is still possible to take this minor. You can find more information in this document (pdf, 150 kB).

*Previous course: Corporate Finance en Accounting
**Previous Course: Accounting, the language of business

Please note: this minor lasts for longer than a year, because you have to begin with Accounting, the language of business in block 4.
