Specialisation in Cultural Geography and Tourism
In the Master's specialisation in Cultural Geography and Tourism you primarily learn to understand and interpret advanced theories and practices of leisure and tourism and their influence on the social and physical environment. This specialisation is offered jointly by Radboud University and Wageningen University. The courses Introduction to Tourism and Society ànd Sustainable Tourism: Rethinking the future, Tourism & Sustainable Development, Tourist Experiences and Governance of Tourism and Natural Resources are taught at Wageningen University.
Some suggestions for Elective courses (but others are possible)
You are free to choose courses provided that these add up to at least 12 EC and are taught at a Master’s level. The choice of courses should relate to your own interests and needs (notably for your Master Thesis Research) but also logically relate to the other courses taught in this specialisation.
