Programme B3 (Cohort 2021, third year)

The third year offered in 2023-2024 is the final year of the curriculum that started in 2021. This curriculum has three specialisation tracks of 12 EC each:

  • Software Science (12 EC)
  • Data Science (12 EC)
  • Cyber Security (12 EC)

and students choose two out of three, comprising 24 ec in total. According to the programme, you have taken one full specialisation in the second year, as well as one course of the second specialisation. In the third year, you complete the remaining course(s) of your second specialisation in the spring semester.

Please register for the specialisation of your choice in OSIRIS.

Below you find a schematic overview of the programme. Courses that are included in both tracks are listed first; after that, track specific courses are listed.

The full curriculum of cohort 2021 (first, second and third year) including specialisation tracks, semester planning and EC per course can be found in this PDF (pdf, 143 kB). For a more detailed view of the relations between courses, you may check the "poster overview (pdf, 859 kB)".

Important note:
Curriculum 2021 is the final curriculum in which the course NWI-IBC035 Academic writing for Computing Scientists is included as a separate course. As of curriculum 2022, this topic has been integrated in other courses. This means that academic year 2023-2024 is the final year that this course will be taught.
