Bridging programme for the Master’s in (Medical) Biology
Radboud University’s Faculty of Science offers students from Dutch Universities of Applied Science (i.e. HBO students) a pre-Master’s or minor programme.
The aim of the pre-Master's is to eliminate deficiencies and develop the skills that are needed for this Master's programme. The content and duration of these pre-Master’s are determined and constructed per individual student. The pre-Master’s programme in (Medical) Biology is only available in English.
Application and costs pre-Master’s
To be admitted to the pre-Master’s programme you need a Dutch Bachelor’s degree in (Medical) Biology or a comparable field of science. More information on the costs and application can be found here (Biology) and here (Medical Biology).
HBO minors (Minors for students from Applied Sciences programmes)
Besides the pre-Master’s, we also offer minor programmes. During their third or fourth year, Dutch HBO students can take a minor – a set of courses of 30 EC – at Radboud University that will be counted as part of their HBO degree as well as give them admittance to the Master’s programme in Biology or Medical Biology (depending on the chosen minor). The minors can be done in semester 1 (September - January) or in semester 2 (February - July). The offered minors can be found on the platform Kies Op Maat: https://www.kiesopmaat.nl/
