Description of Neurobiology

Our brain contains many ingenious networks of billions of interconnected neurons. Together, they have a storage capacity and flexibility that far exceeds modern supercomputers, or any artificial intelligent system. The Master’s specialisation in Neurobiology aims at unravelling the neurobiological and neurocomputational mechanisms of this fascinating, complex system. You will study this fascinating system across different scales and levels of abstraction, from experiment to advanced theory and models.

In case you cannot start in September but need to enrol later in the year (with permission of the Examining Board), you can start with the research internship and take the mandatory courses at the next available option.
