Pre-Master's Microbiology

This pre-Master's is a preparation for the selective Master's specialisation Microbiology. Note that you still have to do the selection process for the Master's specialisation like any other applicant. Start early, because this selection process has a deadline on 1 May.

This pre-Master's can preferably start in September, but other starting moments are also possible. The pre-Master can end after P3 or P4 if at least 30 EC are done and passed.

For start in September, the programme consists of the following courses.

Genomics in Health and Environment (NWI-BB086) - with practicals in Microbiology

Period 2 (Nov-Jan)

Infectious Diseases (NWI-BB097)

Period 3 (Feb-Apr)

Applied and Environmental Microbiology (NWI-BB027C)

Physiology of Micro organisms  (NWI-BB024B)

Period 4 - additional course possible (Apr-Jul)

Advanced Molecular Biology (NWI-BB017C)
