In conjunction with Maastricht University, the Stichting Beroepsopleiding Octrooigemachtigden (foundation for training patent attorneys) (SBO) is offering an EPLC infringement module.
Who is it for
This course is for patent attorneys both in and outside of the Netherlands who can register with the UPC Registrar as a UPC representative (e.g. SBO alumni), based on a successfully completed training programme according to the Rules on the EPLC and other appropriate qualifications (Rule 12) .
Any other interested parties are also welcome.

Course Design
January 29, 2024:
Kick-off: theory discussion, explaning and preparing mock trials, location: CPO, Grotius Building, Radboud University Nijmegen OR Aristo Lunetten, Utrecht.
February 5 and 6, 2024:
Reflection and practising: mock trials (including overnight stay, option of pre-accommodation at own expense), locatation: Hotel and Conference Center Woudschouten, Zeist.
(Individual) study workload
- Study materials to read for January 29th (materials available by mid-January)
- preparation of mock trials; group effort with statement of claim to be submitted in the period January 29 - February 5/6.
