Co-determination at the university level

Radboud University also has student governance which is involved with the entire university. The University’s Student Council consists of 14 student, eight of whom are elected, and six are appointed. The appointed members all represent a specific part of the student population (study associations, student associations, culture, sports, international, and Christian). The Student Council works together with the University’s Works Council, and meets with the Board of Executives every six weeks. They discuss various topics, such as the University’s expenditure, the OER template,  health and safety, and most other ongoing matters. The students also have a seat on a range of committees which prepare these topics.

Additionally, the USR facilitates the FSR’en in their work, by organising six-weekly meetings on the things which are currently ongoing at the university level.
