What do we expect?

In addition to what we offer our PhD candidates, we also expect them to be committed to our Graduate School and the Donders Institute.  

Your profile

We expect from our PhD candidates that they are curiosity-driven people, have a passion for neuroscience, are eager to learn, show commitment to the Donders Institute and have the ambition to excel.

Your good practice

As a PhD candidate in our Graduate School we expect you to keep track of your Training and Supervision Plan (TSP). This means that you organise regular meetings with your supervision team to discuss progress and accordingly update your TSP and the checkpoint system, PhD track.

Secondly, as a PhD candidate at the Radboud University or Radboudumc one requirement in your contract is to fulfil a PhD job or do teaching. If you would like to know more about this, please contact the management assistant of the centre you are employed at.

Furthermore, as a researcher, you fulfil a societal role and you must therefore carry out your research tasks correctly. Within the Donders Institute we have assigned four advisors for academic integrity whom you can contact if you need advice.
