Donders Mohrmann fellowship

The Donders Mohrmann fellowship offers the possibility to establish a junior research group to explore new avenues in neuroscience over a period of 5 years. The position comes with an attractive start-up package and is open to outstanding applicants with a background that is under represented in science (particularly in terms of gender and minorities).

Frequency: once every 5 years

Radboud Excellence Initiative

The Radboud Excellence Initiative was created with the dual purposes of bringing the most exceptional talents from every academic field to Radboud University while strengthening international bonds between universities worldwide. The Initiative is a joint enterprise of both Radboud University and Radboudumc. The Radboud Excellence Initiative provides two routes by which a researcher may come to Radboud University. Promising researchers who have completed their doctorate between two and eight years at the point of nomination may be nominated for a Fellowship whereas those researchers who are more established in their discipline may be nominated for a Professorship.

Christine Mohrmann fellowship (Science Faculty)

The Faculty of Science at Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands) initiated the Christine Mohrmann Fellowship programme to attract and promote talented young women with outstanding potential in the natural sciences. The fellowship comprises a tenure track in which the Fellow starts as an Assistant Professor (UD) in a temporary position, with the prospect of a permanent appointment within six years. The fellowship includes an attractive start-up package (including assistance from a PhD candidate) and an excellent guidance and mentoring programme.

Frequency: once every 2 years

Hypatia Tenure Track Grant (Radboudumc)

The Radboudumc Hypatia Tenure Track Grants aim to promote innovation in academic research by giving young, creative and talented researchers the opportunity to further their own research by establishing an independent research group. Successful candidates will also be offered the possibility to take part in the Hypatia Track, a talent program for excellent researchers who are ready to develop themselves as leaders within their academic fields. After the term of the fellowship and subject to the candidate fulfilling the Radboudumc Principal Investigator criteria, the candidate will be offered a  permanent contract.

Frequency: 3 x per year (January, May, and September)
