Ada Lovelace Day happens worldwide every 2nd Tuesday of October, celebrating the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Born in 1815, Ada Lovelace was a visionary scientist who wrote the first algorithm ever to be implemented in a computer. She became the first programmer and helped lay down the foundations of computer science as we know it today!
