Students, staff, and all interested parties, are invited to join Radboud University's autumn lecture series "Art Histories in Dialogue," presented by the Faculty of Arts and the Radboud Institute for Culture & History (RICH).
This year's theme is 'Art and Earth'.
The lecture series promises insightful explorations on art and visual culture. For each of the four Dialogues, we bring together two scholars to share and discuss recent ideas and reflections concerning the intersections of art, heritage, and climate (change) throughout history. Following the presentations, the floor is open for the audience to participate.
In our first session, professor Thijs Weststeijn will delve into the topic of art and climate change within the context of his recently published book. Dr. Matthew Mullane will serve as the first respondent in this dialogue.
Afterwards, we warmly invite you to stay and continue the conversations over refreshments.
To attend, please register and indicate your preference for in-person or online participation.
