This workshop is part of the Laudato Si' Event 2022. On Friday 18 November 2022, the event From Climate Depression to Sustainable Hope will take place on the campus of the Radboud University Nijmegen, organised in cooperation with the Laudato Si' Alliance Netherlands and Socires. What drives young people to get arrested in the climate actions of Extinction Rebellion (XR) and Christian Climate Action (CCA)? What do they think they are achieving by doing this and what are their motivations? What kind of action matches with your sense of justice? Kirsten Alblas and Margriet Bos will discuss these and other questions with each other.
