Autumn Evening: International Potluck

Tuesday 18 November 2025, 5 pm - 10 pm
Excited for a cosy evening with culture and connection?

Come to our International Potluck! We especially want to welcome internationally minded people, but of course everyone can come!

What will we be doing?
Bring your own dish that says something about your country or your roots. A recipe that reminds you of home. Share it with others, taste each other’s dishes, and discover the world on your plate. When you arrive, you can draw a little flag of your country and put it in your meal. No stress if you don’t want to cook everyone is welcome to eat and have a chat! Don’t forget a plate, cup, and some cutlery.

Getting creative with autumn leaves
After we eat, we will do a fun creative activity: we will make postcards with autumn leaves! You can send the card to you family or friends if you want.

Or would you rather play a game?
For whom does not want to do crafts, there is the opportunity to play a game. Bring your favourite board or card game!

Location
We will come together in the cosy greenhouse of the Hortus (d’Almarasweg 22d). There is a fireplace to keep us warm and string lights for a warm atmosphere. You can access the greenhouse through the gate from the Community Garden in park Brakkenstein. Walk straight ahead and another bigger gate will be on your right. Then you go through that gate!

Come taste, craft and connect with each other and the season of autumn🌻
