The 8th BonnBrain Conference will take place from March 23 to 25, 2026 at the DZNE in Bonn, focusing on the fascinating connection between genes, neural circuits, and behavior. This international event brings together experts from various fields to explore how neural circuits influence our behavior. Leading speakers such as Cori Bargmann from Rockefeller University, Edvard Moser from the Kavli Institute, Rosa Paolicelli from UNIL, Maude Baldwin from MPI Biological Intelligence, and Zachary Knight from UCSF will share their insights.
The BonnBrain Conference provides a platform for lively discussions and informal exchanges among scientists at all levels. The program includes a diverse range of symposia, interactive presentations, and poster sessions where both established researchers and students can showcase their work. This event is not only an opportunity to learn from leading scientists but also to foster new ideas and collaborations within the neuroscience community.
Jointly organized by the University of Bonn, DZNE, and the Max Planck Institute for the Neurobiology of Behavior – caesar, the conference aims to strengthen the local neuroscience community while also promoting international connections.
