Boost your thesis

Do you stare, days on end, at a blank screen of your laptop, waiting for inspiration? Are you endlessly reading one article after another without knowing what you want to do with it all? Are you bouncing off the walls due to a lack of structure and focus? Is EVERYTHING preferable over working on THE THESIS?! Maybe it’s time for a boost!

In this boost you will have the opportunity to focus intensively on your thesis for almost a full week. From the early morning (8.00 am) to late in the afternoon (4.30 pm) several classrooms will be made available for independent work or discussions with fellow thesis students. Professional counselors from the department of Student Support, the Radboud Writing Lab and the Central Library will be approachable for support and advise. During this week, presentations and workshops will be given that directly or indirectly have to do with the process of creating a thesis. 

At the end of the boost: 

• You will know what to expected of the project.
• You will know what your strengths and weaknesses are.
• You will know what you must do to finish the thesis.
• You will have the energy and inspiration to do it!

 For you?

The Boost is for those students who are already working on their thesis. You have a subject and a supervisor and can spend at least 20 hours on that project during the boost. You don’t have to follow all the workshops, but you must be able to invest a significant amount of time to really boost your thesis. 

The boost will be in English but it is always possible to ask questions, have conversations and get advice in Dutch.   

The costs are € 35,00. Breakfast included each morning and a well-deserved drink at the end of the final day.
