PV Radboud organises a bouldering clinic for members of PV Radboud and those who intend to join. Partners of members are also welcome. There is room for 12 participants. If there are more registrations, a second clinic will be held a week later.
Bouldering is a form of rock climbing performed on small rock formations or artificial walls (usually under 4-6 meters) without ropes or harnesses, relying on thick mats for safety. It focuses on short, intense, and technical sequences of moves called "problems" or “boulders” that challenge strength, balance, and technique. It is highly accessible for beginners.
The clinic will be led by an instructor of Radboud Sport Center and will take place in the RSC. Climbing harnesses and climbing shoes will be provided. We recommend wearing comfortable sportswear. If you want to join, please mail the PV Radboud sports manager, Peter van Campen at petervancampen [at] gmail.com (petervancampen[at]gmail[dot]com).
This could become a regular activity of PV Radboud, if enough members would like that.
