Karin Roelofs has been awarded the Spinoza Prize 2026, the highest honour in Dutch academia.

The Spinoza Prize recognises Karin's pioneering research into the neuroscience of stress-related behaviour, including her influential work on the 'freeze' response and its role in decision-making, emotion regulation, and stress recovery.
