As part of the City Deal Kennis Maken initiative, HAN, ROC Nijmegen, Yuverta MBO, Radboud University, Radboudumc and Nijmegen City Council are once again organising a challenge on Thursday 12 November.
Please note: this event is in Dutch.
What will you be doing?
You’ll work in a small team to draw up a plan and come up with ideas to turn the Novio Food Forest into a real meeting place for Nijmegen-West. Each team will be supervised by an experienced tutor.
Your mission
Develop a creative and feasible plan to turn the Novio Food Forest into an attractive meeting place for Nijmegen-West. Consider activities, design and partnerships that contribute to social interaction and recreation, biodiversity and climate, health, and the food experience. How will you ensure that residents feel welcome in the Novio Food Forest and can reap its benefits?
The aim
To develop innovative, creative and feasible ideas within 4 hours. You’ll bring your knowledge and insights to the table and work together with other participants on solutions that can make a real impact.
All participants will contribute their insights and experiences, and together you’ll come up with new, creative ideas. You’re guaranteed to go home feeling positive because, as a team, you’ve achieved something in just half a day!
Why take part in this Challenge
- Work in an interdisciplinary way with other students and professionals
- Learn by using a method for creative problem-solving
- Receive a digital certificate (Edubadge) as proof of your participation
- An intensive but achievable day that fits in well with your studies
Who is it for?
You’re welcome to join if you’re a student at Yuverta MBO, ROC Nijmegen, Radboud University, Radboudumc or HAN University of Applied Sciences. Dutch will be spoken throughout the day.
