Chemistry class on molecules – with lots of experiments!

Tuesday 9 May 2023, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
A Radboud Gesture

Everything around us is made up of molecules, including us! Molecules are so small that we cannot see them with the naked eye. But what exactly are molecules and what do they do? And what happens to molecules during a chemical reaction such as combustion? What is carbon dioxide (CO2) and why is it such a problem for all of us?

In a lesson of about an hour we explain everything and show many experiments that deal with molecules, oxygen, carbon dioxide (CO2) and explosions.

Location

Wijkcentrum Dukenburg, Meijhorst 7039, Nijmegen

For who?

Children from grade 6 to 8 of primary school. Registration is not necessary, just come and join us!
