CLS Talks: Mary Beckman

Thursday 19 October 2023, 4 pm
Phonetic transparency and structural ambiguity at the base of the prosodic hierarchy

CLS Talks showcase research done within the Centre for Language Studies (CLS) with the aim to increase awareness of the ongoing research in the institute, and to facilitate discussions and collaborations between researchers. In addition, several external speakers are invited to share their work.

On Thursday 19 October, the newly appointed honorary doctor Mary Beckman will give a lecture during the CLS Talks at 4 pm. Mary Beckman is a linguist, mainly specialised in phonology. After the lecture, there is a chance to informally discuss the lecture during drinks. Everyone who is interested in linguistics is more than welcome to join physically or online.
