Colloquium Platonicum IV - The Concept of Nature in Plato and Platonism: Anthropology, Cosmology, Politics

The concept of nature is a key theme in Plato and the Platonic tradition and remains a widely debated topic in contemporary scholarship. The conference will address its philosophical relevance to anthropology, cosmology, and politics. The Colloquium Platonicum is a recurring academic event organized by the Center for the History of Philosophy and Science and the Department of Philosophy of the University of Würzburg (Germany). The fourth edition of the Colloquium Platonicum is made possible through the financial aid of the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, the International Office of Radboud University, and the Center for the History of Philosophy and Science.
