The COMET VII reading group has spent this semester delving into the dynamic themes of process philosophy through Rein Raud’s Being in Flux. As we bring the semester to a close, we are delighted to invite students and scholars to our special final session, when we are honored to host Rein Raud, Distinguished Professor of Asian Studies at the School of Humanities, Tallinn University, Estonia. Professor Raud is a renowned philosopher and cultural theorist celebrated for his development of a radical post-anthropocentric process ontology. His work challenges fixed scales of being and privileged viewpoints, synthesizing Western process philosophy (notably Whitehead) with Eastern traditions.
