Contemporary visions of the Stations of the Cross and the Last Supper

Monday 3 April 2023, 10:30 am - 1 pm

The Catholic Documentation Centre (KDC) and the Titus Brandsma Institute (TBI) invite you to a mini-seminar on the 3rd of April in the chapel of the Berchmanianum. The reason for this seminar is the publication of a new book about the 'meaning of suffering' by Ignace Schretlen and the kick-off for a new art route across the campus of Radboud University and Radboudumc, which is called 'the Walk of Wonder'.

In 2018 artist and publicist Ignace Schretlen gifted a unique collection of books and artworks to the KDC and Radboud University, about the passion of Christ. This collection of 600 Stations of the Cross challenges both students and researchers to think about the meaning of 'suffering' in our modern day and age. The new art route and book are inspired by this collection.
