In a fairly newly established AZC (Asylum Seekers' Centre) in Nijmegen, there is going to be a creative space. Here people can read, do crafts and much more. On behalf of Den Geitenwollen Soc. and Radboud University, we want to contribute to filling the space so that asylum seekers can take a creative break there. The aim is to collect books in foreign languages, craft supplies and other items that can be used creatively for those in need. The campaign will run from 17 April to 8 May.
AZC spokesperson: "We would like to start offering creative activities to residents and we are still looking for donations of materials. Doesn't matter what, as long as it can be used creatively. Books written in foreign languages are also very welcome!"
