Everyone has a magnet somewhere. But did you know that magnets are also used to store photos? And a lot too! A simple selfie taken with a phone can easily take 24 million magnets. On May 12th, part of the Bastei will turn into a true escape room where you can learn all about magnets. Can you crack the binary code, reverse an object and make something unstable stable? Only then can you escape from the escape room! Physicist Dr. Johan Mentink explains how to tie a magnet together and how this helps us to store all the photos we take.
There will be four rounds on May 12th:
- Round 1 - 9:30 - 10:30: School class 1
- Round 2 - 10:45 - 11:45: School class 2
- Round 3 -13:00 - 14:00: School class 3
- Round 4 – 15:30 – 16:30 pm: general audience
The first three rounds are private for school classes from De Gerdershof from Lent and De Sterrendans from Nijmegen.
