The European Student Assembly (ESA) brings together around 250 students from across Europe each year for a unique democratic experience at the European Parliament in Strasbourg (20–22 April 2026). This flagship initiative of the EUC Voices Erasmus+ project provides a vibrant platform for students to debate, collaborate, and shape policy recommendations on issues that matter for the future of Europe.
ESA is a long-term project running from January to April 2026. During this time, selected participants work remotely in international teams, join online training sessions with experts on policy drafting and moderation, and prepare for the in-person Assembly in Strasbourg, a three-day event where ideas become action.
Thanks to NeurotechEU Radboud Students Can Join! Through the NeurotechEU Alliance, Radboud University students have the unique opportunity to apply either as:
- Participants to debate and draft concrete policy recommendations on one of eight discussion panels addressing major European challenges such as democracy, sustainability, digital transformation, education, and social inclusion.
- Panel coordinators to take a leadership role in guiding group discussions, ensuring constructive dialogue, and inspiring innovative perspectives on Europe's most pressing issues.
Both participants and coordinators receive training, mentorship, and a certificate of participation. There are no participation fees, and accommodation and meals during the Assembly are covered.
