Are you the funniest person at home, or do you just get a little tired of all the jokers around you? To understand why humor is sometimes so nice and sometimes so irritating, it helps to zoom out a bit. Because humor is so much more than a good laugh. Humor is about boundaries and about relationships, about who you are and what you stand for. It touches on the core of our existence and, for that very reason, deserves a critical look from time to time.
