Content course 

This four-day programme is the follow-up of the basic Photoshop course, but is also great for someone who already has basic Photoshop knowledge. The basic course covered the following topics:

  • The Photoshop interface and controls;
  • Photo corrections and image editing;
  • Retouching and image enhancement;
  • Advanced Photoshop features such as:
    • Adding text to images;
    • Managing dimensions, resolution and colour profiles;
    • Applying image adjustments for social media, web and advertising campaigns;
    • Basic and advanced layer options.

Who is this course for?

This Photoshop course is suitable for anyone who wants to use Adobe Photoshop to edit photos and images for photo editing, websites, social media, print, etc. The training can be followed with the Creative Cloud version of Adobe Photoshop.

About Eline Ploum 

Eline Ploum (36) (in Dutch) has been a freelance professional in marketing communications and graphic design since 2013. She has been working daily with Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign since 2007. She graduated in 2010 from Fontys University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Communications and then pursued an additional year of Graphic Design at the Vogue Academy in Amsterdam. For her clients, she handles DTP (desktop publishing) tasks such as creating campaigns, brochures, and signage. She also designs digital content for websites and social media.

Practical information  

This activity is organised by PV Radboud for their members. Under conditions, the participation fee at this activity can be (partly) paid by Radboud University employees from the selection model (art, culture and sports allowance).

Requirements: Laptop + Adobe Creative Cloud already installed. Adobe offers a free trial version for 1 month. After that, there is a special photographer subscription available for €12.09 per month.
