How well do you really know your colleagues?
Every day you work alongside brilliant researchers, clinicians or other professionals. But how often do you get the chance to know the person behind the role? During this interactive gathering you'll meet colleagues from across the Radboud campus through meaningful conversation cards. No networking. No presentations. No talking about work. But conversations about life, experiences, culture and the things that make us human. Because strong communities start with real conversations.
What to expect
- We'll begin with a short introduction by Julia Jorritsma, founder of The Dining Company. With over 20 years of experience in communication and psychology, Julia will share her personal story of moving from Moldova to the Netherlands and why meaningful human connection has become her mission.
- After the introduction, you'll be invited to find someone you've never spoken to before.
- Together, you'll spend 20 minutes exploring a series of thoughtfully designed conversation cards. Rather than talking about work, the questions invite conversations about life, personal growth, philosophy, culture and the experiences that shape who we are.
- Every 20 minutes you'll meet someone new. Over five rounds, you'll have the opportunity to get to know colleagues from across the Radboud community in a genuine and relaxed way.
- We'll end the evening with drinks, giving you time to continue the conversations.
You'll leave with
- Colleagues who no longer feel like strangers.
- Meaningful conversations instead of small talk.
- Fresh perspectives and inspiring personal stories.
- A stronger sense of belonging within the Radboud Community.
- The reminder that behind every job title is a fascinating person.
